"Electricity Distribution - Stara Zagora" JSV Branch Sliven - answers to the most frequently asked questions
How is the read electricity distributed by one-tariff electrometer?
If an electrometer has read by one-tariff only, the energy is distributed in the following way: 60% to 40% in favour of the day rate, in case there is no basis on which they can be compared /for example, if you have had a clock for a short time or you have moved to a new residence/. In any other case the distribution of the consumed electricity will be done on the basis of a past period. That is to say, the electricity will be distributed as it was during one of the past noted months and a winter month for example will be compared to a winter month and a summer month – to a summer one.
Why are electrometers replaced?
The change is necessary, if one or both tariffs of the electrometer don’t work, if it is connected to a clock /tariff switch/. Generally, the employees of "Electricity Distribution - Stara Zagora" JSV Branch Sliven watch over the work and the accuracy of the electrometers and the clocks. If the electrometer doesn’t work, an employee of the company will replace it with another one, which has the same or better technical characteristics. During the time of the replacement – from the removing of the electrometer which is out of order, mounting the new one, to the first report of the new electrometer, an equalizing/compensation bill is made on the basis of the data from the old and the new electrometer. This sum enters the service column. That’s why sometimes without noticing that your electrometer has been replaced you may receive a bill with service payment included in your electricity bill. The figures shown on the old and the new electrometer are put down on a temporary piece of cardboard, left on the electrometer. It includes information about the date of the replacement and the employee of the company who did it. If you notice that the electrometer doesn’t work, you can also call in the bill calculation department /tax processing officials/ in your electricity distribution area or send a written request for a check-up. If You think that the electrometer is malfunctioning, You should ask for a special examination and a statement to be made by the laboratory for measures and measurement instruments. If the replacement slows down, or something bothers you or you are not pleased with the service as a whole, you can call our hotline number 044/ 611540
What should I do if I notice any difference between the figures the electrometer shows and those written on the report note?
If You have noticed figures that are smaller than the ones shown in the last report note and you still have not paid your bill, you can call in the bill calculation department /tax processing officials/ in your electricity distribution area. After You say Your subscriber’s number, the figures that the electrometer shows do not coincide with your bill, the figures will be corrected officially. You will not have to pay the incorrect bill but just the corrected sum. If You have already paid the bill, You will have to turn to the “Inquiry office for private users” in the building of the cash teller room on “33 Tzar Simeon” Boulevard, where you will have to fill in a declaration with the data taken from the electrometer accompanied by the subscriber’s number. The bill is corrected in conformity with the new data and the difference will be refunded at once. If you haven’t paid the incorrect bill, you will pay only the corrected sum.
