Bulgaria’s adoption of the euro: Press conference, today, Tuesday at 14:00

The rapporteur for the European Parliament’s opinion, Eva Maydell (EPP, BG), will brief journalists on the opinion on Bulgaria’s bid to join the euro.

When: Tuesday, 8 July, 14:00 CET

Where: European Parliament, Strasbourg, Daphne Caruana Galizia press conference room (Weiss N -1/201), Louise Weiss building.

Parliament is required to give its opinion about the preparedness of any country aspiring to adopt the euro. The final decision is then taken by Euro area member states, after considering Parliament’s opinion.
